Outstanding experience! Highly recommend coming here. We needed help getting a coil spring back onto a front strut/shock absorber. They were incredibly helpful, and friendly from the moment we came in. They took care of the coil spring … More and strut for us making a potentially dangerous situation much safer! We felt cared for and not like another random customer. Absolutely recommend

We had some urgent work done on our van - they were very informative about what was necessary vs. optional car care, they were efficient & awesome with communication!! We are very grateful to have had such a positive experience!

I was referred to Pape. They took my car immediately, looked at it that day, did all necessary tasks, and got it back to me the following afternoon. Great communication. Very friendly. Detail oriented. Explained everything. I felt like … More the price was very reasonable and I understood everything that I paid for. I will make this my go-to auto repair shop from here on out!

Brought my 2019 Tacoma to the crew at Pape Automotive with an intermittent issue of my truck not being able to turn over and stay running. Toyota techs spent a month trying to figure it out trying all sorts of fixes. The crew here took … More it in a solved it in 2 days with the conclusion it was a grounding issue to my ECM.
Ever since, any time I need maintenance and repairs I choose them without question. They run a clean, organized and outstandingly professional shop over there. Super knowledgeable and friendly group. Bonus points is they’re a one stop shop so when you need suspension work and an alignment it stays in the same place.
  Couldn’t recommend these guys more!

Our local food pantry, the Love Project, has an older truck used to pickup our weekly food supply from Food for Lane County. Jesse and the team took it upon themselves to give the truck a once over and do the needed repairs at no cost, … More as we are a non-profit. They did an excellent job. This will keep our old truck running a big longer. We are indepted to the folks at Pape for taking care of us in a very professional way. Mid Lane Cares is very thankful.

Pape automotive was a great choice! They were able to get me in same week, had my truck ready within a few hours after drop-off even offered a ride back home. They had even fixed a belt squeak and no extra charge!

Pape has always been good to me! They’ve cleaned out mice debris more than once! They are honest and helpful and quick to respond if something breaks again within the warranty period, taking care of the issue at no additional cost. When … More I leave on a road trip, I feel secure because they have checked it all out before I leave.

I had a great experience with Pape Automotive. I brought my truck in thinking I had a major transmission issue, but instead of jumping to an expensive repair, they took the time to properly diagnose the problem and found that a wiring connection … More had simply come unplugged.
What really stood out to me was their honesty. They could have easily charged me for unnecessary work, but they didn’t. They were upfront, professional, and saved me a significant amount of money.
It’s rare to find an auto shop you can truly trust, and this is one of them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest and reliable service.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Pape. Just hand them a trophy already!! Tyson stepped in to play hero when I had a situation where a simple flat tire led to a whole slew of issues.
I had the flat by Les Schwab who said … More they had to replace the front right wheel bearing. Long story short, they installed the wheel bearing wrong and that caused more damage. The management at Les Schwab was not very accountable and only refunded me for the parts and labor after a huge hassle. However that is where Pape intervened and went above and beyond during all of this. They communicated great with Les Schwab about what was happening. They had me a car to drive while they fixed the issues that Les Schwab created. They were super straight forward and really worked with a tough situation they inherited from another mechanic that had made several errors. Needless to say Pape gained a lifelong customer due to their amazing customer service skills. There is so many more positive things I could say, but I will leave it here-- Thanks Tyson & Pape!

Great business to support! Chad and Jesse were very communicative with me—which means more than anything when working with my vehicles. They didn’t skip a beat! Additionally, they informed me of the current vehicle issues at hand promptly … More and relayed over some information on some future/additional vehicle maintenance recommendations. I am very pleased with the service, timeframe it took them to get me my vehicle back, and their professionalism. I highly recommend Pape Automotive in Veneta for any of your automotive needs.

The folks at Pape are always friendly and easy to work with. My car was in for a door handle repair and they did the usual full inspection and we were able to get some long overdue maintenance done at the same time in record time. We even … More got a discount for bringing in a gift for the holiday toy drive.

It can be so nerve wracking when your only transportation vehicle isn’t working properly and you haven’t got a clue as to why. The only clear reality in your mind is the knowledge that you need to travel 3.5hrs away from home for an important … More meeting. Walking is not an option. What do I do? I call “The Team” at Pape Automotive! No matter what they’re involved with, they always pick up. These hard working men and women are so kind and patient, as I struggle to identify, in my uneducated opinion ,problem areas. They listen and can actually translate my feeble attempts to make sense. I love their system of creating printable pictures with notes explaining what’s going on with each facet of the car, good, bad or what’s possible, making it easy to understand what’s going on. And then the car comes back to me magically whole once more. I’m so glad that my daughter and her husband recommended Pape Automotive to me.

My 2018 Ford F-150 recently rolled over 100,000 miles, so I brought it to Pape Automotive in Veneta, Oregon for complete auto repair and maintenance service. I worked with Jesy’s team of mechanics, and they were excellent from start to … More finish—professional, honest, and efficient. They quickly fit me in for a 60+ point inspection and provided a clear, detailed quote listing each recommended service with pricing and priority levels. I approved a full oil change, transmission service, and multiple fluid changes, along with several other maintenance items. The auto repair technicians at Pape Automotive communicated clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and completed all the work in just four days with no surprise costs. I highly recommend Pape Automotive in Veneta, OR to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic or auto repair shop near Eugene—they truly deliver transparent, high-quality service!

My truck had multiple check engine light's on. I called Pape and they got me in the next day. They diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate for repairs. The estimate was much more than I had expected, but I authorized the repairs … More anyway because I needed my truck back. After they got into it they found they could repair it much cheaper than the original estimate. They could have not told me this and charged me the full estimate price. I wouldn't have been the wiser. I found Pape to be an honest and professional shop, and will not hesitate to use them again. I highly recommend Pape Automotive to anyone needing auto repairs!

Second vehicle worked on by Pape. They diagnosed the complicated problem quickly and reasonably. Incidentally, at about 40% less than the dealership. Who doesn’t love that? I have 4 vehicles, so you can imagine how great it is to find … More someone who provides such superior service and reasonable prices.

Pape Automotive always takes good care of my car, and me! They are fair with their assessment of what is needed and what can wait. They even changed appointments around to get me new brakes when I was leaving on a trip. I moved to Eugene … More from Veneta this summer but still go back to Pape because of the level of trust. Highly recommend!

For the last ten years or so, Pape Automotive has done all of the maintenance and repair for our two aging vehicles, ranging from routine oil changes to major issues such as head gasket replacement. We have been bringing our cars here for maybe a couple years now. They are great. They always keep you informed of what they are doing and they do it in a timely manner. I never feel ripped off like I did at the dealership. They are also … More super nice and they put up with me which isn’t always easy.

I had taken my 01 4Runner in twice after the first visit it still had the original issue and a new one. They got me and sent me the most detailed professional estimate and brake down I or others had ever seen. Even though their diagnosis … More was different and half the cost went with them due to the extensive diagnostics. It even came is a few hundred lower than the quote. They also had someone come buy and replace my windshield.Drop of and pick up was so very convenient and they followed up after. My car is running great and I will be taking my older truck in now whereas as before I was just going to let it go.i have since recommended them to a coworker and will be back for all future auto needs.

I was referred to the team at Pape through a local parts store manager about a year ago. Could not say enough amazing things about this company. As a guy who travels for work, my rig is very important to my job. That being said, I broke down last week. This was the only shop around, that was open that early in the morning so … More I stopped by. They ended up figuring out everything that was wrong with my rig, ordered the parts and got it fixed in an extremely short period of time. Once again the crew and the service riders were all beyond professional in every way and the work they did was top notch in every way. A personal thank you to the crew, especially the service riders, them guys treated me super cool and made sure I got back to my job site in a timely manner, so thank you gentlemen.

Had an really enjoyable experience with Pape Auto! I think of them as my angles who really did me a solid. Im from Cali and didn't know much about the area or cars so I was definitely stressed. Read their reviews and called to ask some questions. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. They completed the job quickly. I will … More definitely be going back for any issues with my suv's.
Update: I've done business with Pape Auto a few times since I moved to Veneta in June of 2024. Couldn't ask for a better mechanics! Love that it is a local, family owned business.

They even gave a discount for active service members that I really didn't expect (on my son's vehicle). I couldn't ask for a better experience.
  Thank you!

We were "tired" of driving to an expensive dealership to have routine oil changes and other services for our vehicles when we stopped to check out Pape's Automotive. That has been at least 11 years. To say we have been pleased … More is a vast understatement. We've recommended Pape's to others and they have become regulars and satisfied customers. Give them a try. I'd be very surprised if you came away unhappy.

These guys are great! Super friendly, informative, honest, efficient and despite not being happy about leaving their area if you have to drive over 3,000 miles to move, these are the guys you want in your corner when getting ready for such … More a journey. Their system of telling you what needs to be done is original, unique and super helpful. It simplifies everything. I remember asking them if some of the things should be done before I moved as I was taking a fairly unfamiliar car home and they really could have leaned on me about getting everything done right away and they didn't. They told me what was crucial to be done right away and what could wait a little bit which is the basis for their entire diagnostic system.I even asked Brian "why would you hold off on putting in new plugs" and he told me the cost and that I could get through the trip with the ones I had I could see how honest they felt and it boosted my confidence. I drove 3200 miles across the entire country by myself with a newer car I hadn't had for long time, during winter with potential terrible driving conditions as well as shorter days of daylight and with them in my corner I knew I was in good hands. Made it home in 6 days and not a single problem in fact it turned out to be a good experience to get more familiar with my new car. My only regret is not being able to continue having them as mechanics. Very solid guys, thank youz for everything!!!

These guys were very nice and the work went smoothly. The only issue i had was that the quoted price for each item did not include the fee for shop supplies. Thus the invoiced price was $28 more than expected. ($403.00 on $375.00 quote). … More
I suggest Pape include the shop supplies charge on their initial quotes so they reflect an accurate price.
Other than that i would recommend them to a friend.
So - After posting Jesse reached out to me and he cleared up the misunderstanding. It was due to a software problem. He was also kind enough to credit me the shop fees this onetime due to the incident.

Pape Automotive is very thorough. My car was in for an oil change. As well as addressing the oil/filter change, an inspection was performed of the externals noting what needed repair/replaced as well as an internal inspection of the entire … More car operating system noting every fluid level, potential problem or concern on the entire vehicle. They even aired the tires! The report shows what systems are in good maintenance as well as what needs addressing. You can receive a report on their findings. They gave me a ride to my home and brought me back as it was required to leave the car there the entire day. Their attention to detail is precise; it does come with a very expensive price.
